Seeing Jes’ photos of Vermont last night made my heart hurt just a tinge. While I do not miss living in New York, I miss the weekend out-of-town getaways. I participated in three of these fun-filled weekends. When you pack 20 people into one three-story house equipped with a pool table, ice hockey table, sauna, indoor pool, hot tub, dance floor, and shuffleboard, mischief of the best sort can only ensue. The scent of bacon filled our mornings, fresh powdered slopes our days, and alcohol our nights. I can only wonder who won this year’s 2nd annual beer pong tournament.
Moreover, I was originally going to be in New York through this weekend! Which meant I might have been able to participate (wardrobe notwithstanding)!
