Monday, September 21 - Impromptu iPhone Photoshoot
Met up with my NY friend CA for lunch at … the Nordstrom Bistro in Union Square.  Questions that arise:

San Francisco has a Union Square?
San Francisco has a mall in the middle of it?

Both of us are absolute San Fran neophytes and resorted to Yelp for helping us find a restaurant worthwhile.  This was the result.  I’m sure we could’ve found something more chic-chic but the meter was running, C herself had limited time, and I cared more about her company than the everything else. So off we went, temporarily lost in a labyrinth of boutique stores before finding this 5th floor oasis and ordering.  C pronounced the mall-in-the-heart-of-the-city ethos “awesome”.
On the drive back to her hotel, we both confessed to thinking we might end up in NoCal one day.  We’re not-so-secretly in love with the place… and yet, that’s exactly why we cannot live here now.  While San Francisco may be The One, neither of us quite is ready to settle down.
In other news, she told me my life has all the making of a NYT Modern Love column.  I  was both flattered and terrified.  (I know you meant that with love, C!)
